Our role in the health system is to both support primary health – the healthcare people seek first in their community, such as GPs, pharmacies and allied health professionals – as well as work with our partners to ensure the right care is there for those who need it most.

Coffs Harbour Neighbourhood Centre (CHNC) is a project of Volunteering Coffs Harbour Inc. We provide services and supports to the whole community while prioritising individuals and groups who are disadvantaged, vulnerable and/or marginalised. CHNC is co-located in the Coffs Harbour Community Village with other community services.

CCQ is an independent not-for-profit commissioning organisation funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health to improve the health outcomes of the region. There are 31 PHNs throughout the country servicing all the regions of Australia. PHNs replaced Medicare Locals on 1 July 2015.

Galambila has been providing health services to the Aboriginal community for nearly 25 years. In 1998 it was recognised the Aboriginal people of the Coffs Harbour region needed a dedicated medical centre, without needing to travel over an hour away to access culturally appropriate services.
