Share The Journey at Byron’s Picnic in the Park

Open Minds is hosting a picnic in the park, with the aim of encouraging social connections and help seeking behaviour, so that we can all maintain our mental health and wellbeing.

Open Minds is hosting a picnic in the park, with the aim of encouraging social connections and help seeking behaviour, so that we can all maintain our mental health and wellbeing.

This year, the NSW theme for Mental Health Month is Share the Journey – and it’s all about sharing your feelings when you’re going through a tough time. The theme for this year encourages talking to others who have been through something similar, telling your friends and family, or sharing stories with others, as this all contributes to decreasing isolation.

With live music, food, entertainment, and mental health service providers on hand providing free information, the event will be a great opportunity to increase social connections and find out more about what mental health support services are available.

Location: Dening Park, Beachfront, Byron Bay.

Date and time: 11th of October from 10am to 3pm

Remember to hit “attending” on Facebook and help spread the word!
