The Client and Carer Forum

Open Minds is hosting it’s first Client and Carer Forum on Wednesday 23rd May 2018. Join the discussions on planned improvements to Open Minds and contribute your feedback if you wish!

A safe space to have discussions on current topics that will ensure Open Minds is delivering the information, services and supports you need to live the life you want!

At Open Minds we are constantly striving to make improvements to our services, which is why we are hosting a Client and Carer Forum. Clients and their families and carers are invited to attend to hear about planned improvements and provide feedback if you feel comfortable. Your feedback will ensure that we are delivering the right information, services and support.

With the roll-out of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) it’s more important than ever to understand how we can better provide person-centred services. The best way to know what we are doing well and where we can improve is to listen to our service users.

There is also growing evidence that client and carer participation results in improved mental health and wellbeing.

Join us on Wednesday the 23rd of May 2018, 11:00am – 3:00pm to take part in the forum, and help shape the future of Open Minds.

If you would like to attend but you’re feeling anxious or have any questions, we can arrange one-on-one peer support prior to the event, or discuss your transport options. Email us on [email protected] or call or text 0419601446.

This forum is open for all Open Minds clients to attend, as well as their families and carers. RSVP to [email protected] by 18th May.
