At Open Minds, our purpose is to enable an independent and positive future for people living in the community with mental health needs and psychosocial disabilities. You can make a difference by making an easy tax-deductible donation to help our work within the community.

We began our mission of supporting Queensland’s community in 1912, when the Queensland Wattle Day League funded art scholarships for returning servicemen from the First World War. With a firm focus on mental health, the League changed its name to Open Minds in 2003.

For the past 30 years, we’ve focused on supporting people with mental health needs and psychosocial disability to achieve their goals, which we’ve done thanks to the help of donations.

By making a tax-deductible donation to us, you can help our organisation remain sustainable and continue to deliver the high-quality, beneficial services that the community deserves.
