Clients at one of our residential homes in Brisbane were the proud recipients of a $100 dollar donation from Grill’d Local Matters program, to use towards supplies for their communal garden.

The Grill’d Local Matters campaign allows local organisations to drum up awareness and support in the area, allowing customers of Grill’d to allocate tokens to the organisation of their choice.

Open Minds Client Smithy, was delighted with the prize and went to Bunnings with his Support Workers to choose suitable supplies for the garden.

Nicholas Bartram, Open Minds Senior Support Worker, said: “It’s really rewarding for our clients to grow and eat their own food, we are very grateful to Grill’d for their support.”
