Ms Joanne Jessop became Board Chair of Open Minds when Multicap and Open Minds formed a partnership in October 2021.

Jo has been the Chief Executive Officer of Multicap since 2006, leading transformational change, including the transition to the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

Jo has extensive senior management experience in non-profit and public sector health care and in government services. She is a Director of both Ability First Australia and Bric Housing, and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Jo is passionate about providing high-quality human services outcomes, and improved opportunities for vulnerable people, especially those living with disability.
