NDIS rollout in Brisbane, Redlands and Logan

At Open Minds, we are proud to have supported over 159 clients to transition to the NDIS in regions across Queensland such as Townsville, Toowoomba, Ipswich and Bundaberg.

Getting ready for the NDIS in Brisbane, Redlands and Logan

WHAT IS THE NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) launches in Brisbane, Redlands and Logan on 1st July. With a large portion of our clients being based in Brisbane, we want you to know that we’re here to help make sense of all the changes. The new scheme ensures that people living with a disability or psychosocial disability are given every opportunity to make their own informed decisions to exercise choice and control, and connect with the community.

At Open Minds, we are proud to have supported over 159 clients to transition to the NDIS in regions across Queensland such as Townsville, Toowoomba, Ipswich and Bundaberg. With so much experience, learnings and commitment to our customers, we are well placed to help get you ready for the Brisbane, Redlands and Logan roll out. The NDIS means that funding is provided to the individual taking into account your reasonable and necessary support needs.

HOW DO I GET PREPARED?

We will help you. If you already receive funding support from a Disability program, you will be contacted by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) directly in the next few months. It is important to be prepared for this contact as you need to communicate exactly the support level you require. We can assist you by arranging a pre-planning session at a time that suits you.
