Friendship Day

A fun and easy way to meet new people and make new friends!

The Open Minds Living Well workshops are suite of programs designed for people living with mental illness to enable them to better access the community and work towards recovery. Each program is delivered during the day, with the opportunity to meet new people and learn new skills.

These weekly sessions will help you to build your communication skills, have a chat with like-minded people, and practice the skills you need to form healthy friendships.

During these groups, you will be provided with some conversation starter ideas, and will spend a few minutes chatting to someone before moving on to the next person.

The sessions will also include some Mindfulness and walking as optional.

What do I need to bring?

Bring your own blanket or towel, and snacks! We will provide water and sunscreen.

WHEN: Every Wednesday from 9:30am – 11:30am

WHERE: Meet at Unit 1, 73-75 King Street, Caboolture, Qld, 4510. We will walk together to the Lakes which is about 5 minutes away.
